Based in Hervey Bay, you would support our team of smoke alarm electricians and technicians to service the Wide Bay Area including Hervey Bay, Burrum Heads, Maryborough, Childers and the Bundaberg area.

Quickcheck is a Smoke Alarm Compliance Company based in Bundaberg, that has been servicing the local area for over 17 years. We specialise in providing smoke alarm compliance services, smoke alarm upgrades and maintenance electrical services.

The Role

We require an experienced, reliable electrician who is happy for their work schedule to be provided daily with full support from our admin team. You would work Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm with no weekend work. The core role is the maintenance of smoke alarms in residential properties and undertaking smoke alarm upgrades to meet with the new Queensland smoke alarm standards. The role also includes maintenance electrical work (domestic).

The successful candidate will possess:

- A current Queensland Electrical License

- A current driver's license (manual)

- Proven ability to work unsupervised

- The ability to work efficiently and to complete a high volume of work

- Ability to climb up and down ladders multiple times a day

- Strong communication skills

- Fault finding skills advantageous

The candidate should possess a high level of record keeping skills, attention to detail and the ability to work safely and accurately. In addition, the candidate will be well presented and personable. Access to email/printer/scanner is a necessity.
