AVS Advisory is a fast growing, accounting firm located in Perth's Northern suburb. We’re a close-knit team who pride ourselves on delivering personalised, high-quality Accounting and Bookkeeping services to our valued clients.

We’re looking for a Senior Accountant to join our growing team, working alongside our Directors. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a small-firm environment, values long-term relationships, and enjoys making a real difference in clients’ financial success. You’ll work across a variety of Accounting, Tax, and Advisory tasks, with plenty of scope to develop your skills and contribute to the direction of the business. As an experienced Senior Accountant, you will be expected to step confidently into the role and make an immediate impact.

In this role, you will:

· Work directly with clients, including regular meetings (virtual)

· Prepare and review Financial Statements and Tax Returns for groups, Companies, SMSFs & Trusts.

· Provide Tax Planning strategies and proactive advice to optimise client outcomes

· Review and mentor the work of colleagues to maintain high-quality standards

· Deliver a range of professional services, including business advisory and compliance support

· Build strong, long-term relationships with clients through attentive, responsive service

· You will be expected to manage a portfolio of clients.

Skills & Experience

We’re seeking someone who is:

· Experienced — at least 3+ years in the role of an Accountant

· Strong technical accounting knowledge

· Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Xero

· XERO Practice Manager experience preferred

· Loyal, with a genuine interest in building long-term client relationships

· Hardworking and willing to go the extra mile

· Efficient and able to manage multiple priorities

· Strong attention to detail

· Motivated and proactive in finding solutions

· Reliable and a strong team player
