Our clinic has expanded and we now have an opening for an experienced Full Time Dental Receptionist / Assistant wanting a stable & long-term position at our busy family practice in Kalamunda. The role will be mostly front-desk but will require sterilisation and assisting experience as we work as a team, where everyone can do every role.

The Practice
We have just become an Accredited Dental Practice and you will be joining a team of dedicated professionals who are committed to providing our patients with an exceptional service. We can provide further training and education as well as personal development opportunities. The practice has onsite parking.

Job Responsibilities Include:

Reception duties.

Booking appointments and handling patient enquires.

Providing chair-side assistance to the Dentist, Oral Health Therapist or Hygienist.

Sterilising and instrument processing.

Maintain a clean and healthy clinical environment.

What you'll bring to the team:

Dental experience, this can include being recently or nearly completing a Cert III / IV qualification.

Minimum 6 months dental assisting experience, or recent Certificate III/IV graduates considered

Be a great communicator with our dentist, hygienists, therapists, staff and patients in a friendly, professional & caring manner.

Follow instructions and carry them out in an efficiently and timely manner.

Be able to prioritise work according to the days schedule.

Be hard working, have a positive attitude, compassion and humility, and work well in a team environment.

Proficiency with D4W products.

Knowledge of sterilisation procedures and infection control protocols in dental settings

The ability to deliver a high standard of patient care

Be pro-active in ensuring each days appointments schedules run as efficiently as possible

Australian work rights (citizen, permanent resident, or valid work visa)

The practice is open from 8.30am to 5pm Mondays, 8.30am to 6pm Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and Friday's are 8am to 3pm. We are closed on weekends and public holidays. These hours can be flexible with a 9 day fortnight available upon mutual agreement.
