Finance & Business Services Manager

Brisbane-based | Part Time 30 hours per week| Flexible work | $65-$68 per hour + superannuation + salary packaging

Children by Choice is a statewide not-for-profit organisation supporting women’s reproductive health, rights, and social justice. We deliver counselling, education, advocacy, and sector development across Queensland, guided by a volunteer Management Committee and a strong values-based mission.

We are seeking a Finance & Business Services Manager to join our leadership team and ensure financial sustainability, compliance, and efficient business operations. This is a hands-on leadership role with variety, purpose, and the opportunity to make a real impact.

What you’ll do

Lead financial planning, reporting, payroll, and grant acquittals (using Xero).

Manage compliance, quality, and risk frameworks, including HSQF audits.

Oversee business services including IT, leases, office, and data systems.

Support and supervise a small finance/quality/data team.

Drive system improvements to strengthen efficiency and outcomes.

What you’ll bring

Degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/CA desirable).

Experience in not-for-profit, health, or community service finance.

Knowledge of NFP salary packaging/FBT.

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Commitment to social justice and organisational values.
