About Gippsland Youth Spaces Inc.
Gippsland Youth Spaces (GYS) is a dynamic, youth-led organisation operating across Latrobe City and wider Gippsland. With a central base in Morwell and a mobile service model, we work alongside young people and communities to design and deliver programs that strengthen youth voice, connection, and opportunity.
Our governance model is youth-led: young people actively participate on the Board and subcommittees, shaping programs and decision-making. Guided by the Collective Impact Model – "nothing about us, without us" – we are committed to cultural safety, inclusion, and respect for all young people.
Our Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Executive Officer to lead our organisation into its next stage of growth. This is a unique opportunity to combine hands-on operational leadership with strategic influence, ensuring young people remain at the centre of everything we do.

Develop partnerships with local communities, government, philanthropic organisations, and corporate partners
Advocate for young people and support initiatives that improve youth outcomes across Gippsland
Ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of all staff, volunteers, and young people, including psychosocial safety

Why Join Us?
Be part of a truly youth-led, values-driven organisation making a tangible difference in Gippsland
Flexible work arrangements and a supportive, collaborative work environment
Competitive remuneration and salary packaging benefits for our employees (Registered Charity and PBI status)
Opportunity to shape the future of youth services across the region
