Bar Lourinhã is looking for an experienced Waiter to work at our iconic Melbourne Restaurant.

Come and join our one-hat restaurant bar with nearly 20 years in the hospitality business.

We have set and continue to strive for the highest standard of bar & restaurant dining in Melbourne. Comprising a small professional team, Bar Lourinhã's restaurant is run at an exciting and smooth pace with daily specials that are based on great, seasonal and local produce, leanings of Iberian and Mediterranean culture with an excellent and extensive beverage & wine list both local and imported unique varieties.

Bar Lourinhã is a well-established feature of the Little Collins Street community in the Melbourne CBD. Known for our excellent Iberian inspired food and drink offerings, we are looking for an experienced waiter to join our super team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced front of house professional, with a strong focus on customer service and proven team worker experience.

The personal skills of the applicant will be acknowledged and renumerated accordingly.

The successful candidate will have an established hospitality career, with experience working bar and floor sections. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years' experience, possess a strong attention to detail and be able to consistently maintain high standards in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum 2 years' experience in hospitality, preferably in fine dining or similar high-end establishments.

Beverage and Wine Knowledge at an experienced level.

Extensive Food Knowledge both of European and local styles.

Excellent Customer care and service skills
Section management skills.

Excellent communication in services.

Table service skills - previously fine dining service appreciated.

Knowledge of Classic cocktails and confident cocktail-making skills are an advantage.

Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate is mandatory.

Strong commitment to a career in hospitality. As this is a professional waiter position.

Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
