Location: Broadmeadows (with occasional travel to Bendigo)

Role Type: Part-Time, Permanent (0.4 FTE - 15 hours/week, Monday & Tuesday)

Remuneration: Starting from $89,312.16 including super (pro rata)

About The Role:

In this hands-on teaching role, you'll:

• Design and deliver engaging learning programs focused in ACM30122 Certificate III in Animal Care Services (Pet Grooming) Qualification.
• Deliver engaging and hands-on grooming classes to diverse students.
• Teach breed-specific grooming techniques, bathing, brushing, clipping, styling, and nail trimming whilst maintaining hygiene standards,
• Guide students in identifying and managing common skin and coat conditions, parasites, and grooming-related health issues.
• Scheduling grooming services and contribute to workforce development in the sector.
• Provide feedback and support to help students develop their skills.
• Maintain industry currency through professional networks and industry engagement

We are excited about you because you have:

• Minimum 2 years industry experience in pet grooming, including breed-specific styling and grooming techniques.
• Strong animal handling skills and knowledge of welfare, animal ethics and care practices.
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) - desirable or willingness to enrol.
• A genuine love for animals and enthusiasm for sharing your knowledge.
