Mildura Central Early Learning Centre is a privately owned centre, seeking a Kindergarten Teacher with a passion for making a difference in a child's world. We are looking for a teacher to join our team of teachers and educators.

Our philosophy is a play based emergent curriculum. We are inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach and this is incorporated into our curriculum and environment. We are a smaller boutique service; beautiful facilities and plentiful learning resources.

Qualities and skills essential for the position:

Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood) or equivalent (Validated by ACECQA) for an Early Childhood Teacher

Applied knowledge of the National Quality Framework, the Early Years Learning Framework and the VEYLDF.

Victorian Teacher Registration (VIT): Early Childhood

Current First Aid & Anaphylaxis Certificate

Applied knowledge of the EYLF

Team work, good written and communication skills

Our offer:

An above Award competitive flexible salary package $40 - $49 per hour. (Full Time Equivalent[FTE] Range $79,000 - $96,000), plus superannuation and FTE 6-8 weeks paid annual leave. Our package has flexibility. We are happy to discuss your package needs.

Provision of an extensive amount of non-contact time to the room (4-7.5 hours) to develop a high quality kindergarten program.

We value healthy and safety, we will be covering the cost of your full first aid certificate (up to $150) or your first aid refresher course (up to $60).

Paid Training: We offer time in lieu for the attendance at staff meetings to promote team collaboration. This allows you to use paid time in lieu at another time instead of using annual leave.

We have an extensive professional development and leadership program and we provide customised training for all educators. Wellbeing and Phonics Coaches.

We have wonderful indoor and outdoor learning environments and beautiful resources to deliver engaging learning experiences. Regular resource orders are completed to maintain high quality learning and care.
