Project Accountant | 6-Month Contract
Location: Sydney
Salary: $50 - $55 per hour + super

We're seeking an experienced Project Accountant to join a leading organisation on a 6-month temporary basis, starting in October. This role will suit a qualified accounting professional with a strong background in SAP and project implementation, who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys supporting system upgrades and process improvements.

What you'll be doing:

Partnering with the finance team to support project and system upgrade activities

Assisting with month-end processes, reconciliations, and financial reporting

Reviewing invoices, claims, and payments to ensure accuracy and compliance

Collaborating across the business to deliver on project goals and deadlines

Supporting ad hoc finance initiatives as required

What we're looking for:

CA/CPA qualified with at least 5 years' accounting experience

Strong technical skills, particularly with SAP and financial systems

Proven experience contributing to projects, upgrades, or system implementations

Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and problem-solving ability

Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively in a team environment
