On behalf of our client, a well known professional services firm in Sydney CBD, we are seeking a proactive and knowledgeable Health and Safety Advisor to support the business. This role will focus on supporting office safety initiatives, stakeholder engagement, ergonomics, and wellbeing programs, while also ensuring compliance with safety management systems and return-to-work procedures.

This is a 3 Month contract starting ASAP.

Key Responsibilities:

Enhance organisational understanding of psychosocial risk through the development of educational materials and coaching.

Collaborate with People & Culture to identify and manage psychosocial risks across the business.

Support business units in implementing effective controls for psychosocial risk.

Attend safety committee meetings (primarily virtual) for offices across multiple locations.

Evaluate the effectiveness of emergency drills and drive continuous improvement.

Build strong relationships across business units, actively engaging in team meetings and consultations to promote a positive safety culture.

Lead ergonomics initiatives in the workplace and support flexible and remote working arrangements.

Deliver safety campaigns and ergonomic programs across all locations.

Coordinate employee wellbeing sessions, including Lunch & Learn activities.

Identify and mitigate risks related to flexible work environments.

Promote best practice in Return to Work processes for injured employees.

Ensure injuries are properly recorded and reported.

Provide support for recovery and reintegration of injured team members.

Key Skills & Experience

Previous experience in a similar role

Degree in Psychology / Occupational Therapy

Strong understanding of psychosocial risk and wellbeing practices.

Experience supporting office-based safety programs and stakeholder engagement.

Knowledge of ergonomics and return-to-work processes.

Familiarity with safety management systems and HSE compliance requirements.

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple teams.
