The Role

This is a newly created position designed to strengthen technical capability across the finance team and free up capacity for process improvement initiatives. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for preparing financial statements, managing key compliance processes, and supporting audits and tax requirements. Over time, you will take on increasing responsibility, positioning yourself for genuine career and personal progression.

Key responsibilities include:

Preparing financial statements from trial balance through to P&L and balance sheet

Constructing consolidated and aggregated financial statements

Leading the FBT process, with a focus on entertainment reporting and compliance

Managing reconciliations and supporting income tax preparation

Liaising with auditors, advisors and global shared service teams

Collaborating with leaders on budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis

Supporting process improvements to strengthen governance and efficiency across the various departments

Providing mentoring and support to junior team members where required

About You

You are a technically strong accountant who enjoys detail and takes pride in accurate, reliable reporting. You thrive in a collaborative culture, are open to learning from highly experienced leaders, and are motivated by the opportunity to grow into a role with broader responsibility.

Skills & Experience

CA or CPA qualification

A true growth mindset, ego is left at the door and learning is your main goal

Background in audit, business services, or a technical financial accounting role

Confident in preparing financial statements from trial balance to completion

Strong knowledge of FBT compliance, ideally with meal entertainment exposure

Experience with reconciliations, consolidated reporting, and liaising with auditors

Detail-oriented, collaborative, and willing to push back when needed while leaving ego at the door
