About the opportunity
We are an actively growing practice and have room for the right person to join our team in this newly created leadership role!
Supported by our experienced practice manager and existing leadership team, the new front office leader will have the opportunity to contribute their innovative ideas for the growth of our bustling practice.
This is a role that will see the right person flourish in our fast paced, dynamic and welcoming environment.
Role responsibilities include:
Lead and support the reception team of Front Office Coordinators to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations
Oversee delivery of high-quality patient service, communication, and care
Monitor appointment scheduling, patient flow, and report on key front office KPIs
Train and mentor new and existing team members
Act as an escalation point for patient feedback
Manage relevant practice records and registers
Proactively identify and resolve front office issues
Contribute to regular meetings with management, and the leadership team
Collaborate with management and clinical teams to ensure seamless coordination
Essentials skills and experience include:
Passion for the delivery of high-quality patient centred care
Customer service leadership experience
Proactivity, excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise over various timeframes
Demonstrable mentoring or training skills
Confidence using a range of IT equipment and software
Strong communication and interpersonal skills including leadership, a collaborative and supportive approach and dispute resolution
Desirable skills and experience:
Leadership experience in a dental or healthcare setting
Experience with D4W practice management software
Experience creating and refining policies, procedures and systems

The position is available for between 25 and 38 hours per week, working at both our Yass and Murrumbateman locations, from 8.10am until 5.15pm.
Depending on applicant suitability, available working days/hours on offer may range from 3-5 days per week, Monday – Friday with some Saturday work required from time to time.
