At SSV Installations, we're seeking an experienced sign, fitout or construction installer who is looking to come off the tools and into a project role OR an existing sign or fitout install co-ordinator/manager looking for the next step in their career.
The role is hybrid, with a few days a week required in office and the rest of the time working from home, so you need to be based in Brisbane. You will be provided with a mobile phone and laptop.
Experience is essential. You need to be able to look at a potential installation job and immediately start thinking about the various parts that need to be quoted.
About the Role
Project managers manage their own list of clients and projects but support each other to increase the performance of the business.
Reporting to the Managing Director, your day will consist of:
Client & Stakeholder Management – sourcing new clients, maintaining relationships, reporting progress and completion to clients and the MD.
Project Planning & Delivery – developing quotes and budgets, scheduling installs, organising permits, job briefs, and sub-contractor/vendor bookings.
Project Administration & Performance – managing tasks in PM software, handling quotes, invoices, and variations, and tracking project profitability and financial performance.
The installations we manage include:
Installation & Construction – all types of signage installations including fuel site works, framing, cladding, decorative panelling, and large structures such as billboards, lightboxes, and lettering.
Digital & Electrical – LED screens, digital billboards, and associated components.
Safety, Maintenance & Repairs – installation of safety equipment and handrails, plus ongoing maintenance and repair works.
The role will consist of around 90% office work, 10% site inspections and meeting with clients.

Skills and Experience
We are looking for a highly motivated individual with the following skills and attributes:
Construction experience in signage, commercial fitout and/or structural/finishing work.
Self motivated and with the initiative to chase work when things are quiet.
The ability to lead and motivate.

Ability to work flexible hours where required.
