Building Maintenance Team Member

  • 2 x Ongoing Full Time positions
  • Salary: $73,902 pa + Super + Allowances + 9 day fortnight
  • Location: Croydon

Maroondah City Council is seeking an enthusiastic and committed individual to join our Facilities and Building Team.

Responsibilities will include:

  • building maintenance of Council buildings and facilities including but not limited to carpentry, tiling, painting, and general building maintenance.

The successful candidates will possess:

  • Cert III qualification in Carpentry
  • a current Victorian driver’s licence and red/White card certificate
  • good communication, organisational skills and time management
  • proficient in the use of an electronic asset management system
  • ability to work within a team and sometimes autonomously
  • Previous local government experience advantages but not essential
