South West Healthcare (SWH) is seeking two passionate and highly skilled Clinical Coordinators to join our team at our Warrnambool Campus. This is an exciting opportunity to play an integral role in shaping patient care, supporting clinical excellence, and driving operational efficiency in a leading regional health service.
Position overview
- Employment Type:
- Part Time, Ongoing - 48 hours per fortnight
- Part Time, Fixed Term - 24 hours per fortnight until February 2026

- Salary Range: $129,048 pro rata, plus superannuation and applicable penalties
About the role
As a Clinical Coordinator, you will be at the heart of hospital operations, providing leadership and oversight across both clinical and operational activities. You'll work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless coordination of patient care, effective resource management, and high-quality outcomes for our community.
This is a highly visible, hands-on, and rewarding role where no two days are the same.
In this role, you will:
- Lead, support, and mentor clinical teams to deliver exceptional, patient-centred care
- Coordinate and oversee hospital operations both during and outside regular working hours.
- Manage clinical, human, and financial resources to ensure safe and effective care delivery.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clinical escalation and make critical decisions to support patient flow and safety.
- Collaborate with senior leaders to drive innovation and service improvements.
- Foster a positive team culture where collaboration, learning, and professional development are encouraged.
What you bring
We are looking for a confident and capable clinical leader who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and has the ability to inspire and guide others. To be successful, you will have:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- A minimum of five years' post-graduate experience with demonstrated advanced clinical skills.
- Proven leadership experience, with the ability to influence, motivate, and support clinical teams.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, especially in high-pressure situations.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships across multidisciplinary teams.
