The Role

As HSEQ Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing and improving site-wide compliance in occupational health and safety, environmental management, and quality assurance. Working closely with the Chief Operating Officer and other internal teams, you will ensure systems, policies, and procedures meet ISO standards and align with legislative requirements. This role will require you to have an active presence on site, with typically early morning starts. You will also lead administrative efforts in this area of operation with a range of reporting, training and compliance-based functions.

Key responsibilities include:

Oversee and continuously improve Health & Safety Management Systems (HSMS) and drive ISO45001 compliance and accreditation

Lead quality management initiatives, including ISO9001 certification audits and reporting

Manage environmental strategies and the Environmental Management System (EMS)

Coordinate audits, investigations, and compliance reporting across safety, quality, and environment

Deliver training, inductions, and stakeholder engagement on HSEQ requirements

Support procurement, governance, and risk management processes related to HSEQ

Act as the primary contact for day-to-day safety, compliance, and environmental issues

About You

You are an experienced HSEQ professional with a strong background in safety and quality systems, auditing, and compliance. You have excellent communication skills and enjoy working with a wide range of stakeholders to embed best practice and continuous improvement.

What you’ll bring:

Qualifications in OHS, Quality Management, Risk Management, or related fields

ISO 9001 Lead Auditor and/or ISO Auditor experience

Strong understanding of OHS legislation, risk management, and quality systems

Experience with subcontractor and contractor compliance management

Excellent planning, organisational, and stakeholder engagement skills

A proactive, solution-focused mindset with a commitment to safety and sustainability
