An opportunity exists for a highly motivated and organised person to join our Gepps Cross branch. We are looking for a Spare Parts Interpreter/coordinator to work with the service mananger and mechanics to organise parts for workshop and site jobs and also internal Machine deals across all branches.

NOT A CUSTOMER FACING ROLE

Key responsibilities of the role will include:

Interpret parts for workshop and order/supply as required

Order/supply parts for new/used machinery sales (pre-delivery) - all 3 branches

Order/supply parts for field service technicians (days prior)

Order/supply parts for breakdowns

Co-Ordinate with Summertown and Naracoorte branches on all Machine deals and field service jobs

Work with warranty department for short-shipments and replacement orders

Control stock of Machine Accessories for all branches

Assist retail Spare Parts counter sales, only during staff absentees

Assisting parts manager where required

Assist service manager and service department where required

Assist with service calls and enquiries during staff absentees and busy periods

Assist store-person during busy periods and maintaining stock control, locations and warehouse organisation

Maintaining stock levels (along with on-going stock-takes)

Processing supplier invoices

Various other tasks as required from time-to-time

Flexible working hours can be negotiated

Applicants will require the following attributes:

High level computer knowledge and speed to be able to work with various parts programs (this is an important part of the job)

Excellent communication with internal staff and suppliers

High attention to detail

Excellent time management skills

Highly organised and meticulous

Ability to work collaboratively with others

Previous Spare Parts and/or service experience

A good understating of the Construction and Agricultural industries (not essential)

Entry-level and/or apprentices are encouraged to apply

To be successful in this role the applicant must have previous experience in parts or service department, or experience in a variety of agricultural or construction equipment. A current SA drivers licence is required and a Forklift licence would be looked upon favourably, however it is not essential.
