We’re growing and hiring a fully qualified, experienced Metal Fabricator/Welder to take a key role in our custom/jobbing workshop. If you take pride in your work, keep a clean bench, and want real say in how things are done, you’ll fit right in.

The Role

MIG/TIG welding, cutting, fabrication and assembly from technical drawings.

Use/learn tube & pipe bending, rolling and related machinery.

Contribute to quality checks, safe work practices and continuous improvement.

(Occasional) site installs and mentoring of juniors when required.

Must-Haves

Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication/Fitter/Welder (or equivalent).

5+ years’ fabrication/welding experience in a jobbing or similar environment.

Strong drawing interpretation, measurement/layout and finishing skills.

Reliable, punctual, professional communicator; team player with initiative.

Physically capable of lifting up to ~25kg and standing for extended periods.

Current AS/NZS MIG & TIG competency (or able to pass a weld test).

Nice to have: Forklift licence/White Card, site work experience, prior mentoring or leading small jobs/teams. (If you don’t have a White Card, you can obtain it on commencement.)
