We're looking for an experienced Procurement Officer to join a busy government team supporting the delivery of a standing offer arrangement. In this role, you'll manage end-to-end procurement activities with a focus on goods and services, while also supporting broader sourcing and evaluation tasks across the branch.

You'll be working with standard government procurement templates and playing a key role in ensuring probity and compliance. This is a hands-on role that requires strong attention to detail, great communication, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead or support the development of standing offer arrangements, including significant procurement and probity plans

Assist with supplier evaluation and contract negotiation processes (including ITO responses and assessments)

Coordinate and process day-to-day purchasing tasks using standard templates and frameworks

Provide admin and coordination support across procurement activities, including documentation tracking, meeting support, and general stakeholder communication

Liaise with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and compliance with procurement policies

What We're Looking For

Demonstrated experience in procurement, particularly for goods and services

Understanding of government procurement processes, templates, and probity requirements

Excellent organisational and communication skills

Ability to work independently and manage deadlines across multiple projects

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset

• Fleet management knowledge or experience (advantageous)
