$77,703 to $89,602 per annum (HEO5)
Plus 17% employer superannuation
Salary packaging options are available
20 days family and domestic violence leave available per annum
20 days gender affirmation leave per annum (for continuing positions)
10 days Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural and ceremonial leave per annum
5 weeks annual leave plus Christmas week shutdown, per annum
Armidale based role

About the role
The Student Progression Officer is responsible for the provision of high level, effective and efficient administrative support and specialist student advice for course progression, leading to graduation. The officer will contribute to the continual improvement of student administrative processes to positively affect student outcomes.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have:
The ability to tailor your responses to clients from a mix of cultural, linguistic and socio-economic backgrounds and have sound communication skills;
Attention to detail, computer and time management skills;
A genuine desire to help students complete their academic journey;
The ability to work with complex rules and polices and communicate these clearly;
The temperament to work both directly supervised and more independently under general directions.
About the Portfolio
The Student Journey portfolio is responsible for all aspects of the student journey at UNE to ensure quality of provision from enrolment to graduation. Through institutional collaboration, the portfolio supports the University's strategy, in ensuring all UNE students and UNE graduates have an experience which supports and enables their academic success and future life course progress.
Student Services meets the needs of students, members of the UNE community and external agencies by managing the links, information and infrastructure that enables students to progress to graduation. It is responsible for a broad range of services including enrolment; international student services; progression; alumni relations and scholarships; and student connect.
