Want to help develop the next generation of cutting edge online retail sites? We are seeking experienced developers to assist with the implementation of web-based eCommerce systems utilising full-stack JavaScript solutions, progressive technologies, and serverless architectures. Successful candidates will be working in an experienced team, with plenty of opportunities for growth and reward for achievement.

We are looking for an experienced full-time web developer with a strong customer service focus to join our team. To succeed in this role you will be reliable, team-oriented, self-motivated, have excellent time management skills and demonstrate strong attention to detail. You will be passionate about web development, with outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Experience working in an agency or professional services role is a plus.

Note: Position will initially be in person at our Melbourne office, with a hybrid work from home schedule negotiable after 3 month probation.

Responsibilities:

Work on new website projects, from initial discovery and planning phases through implementation and deployment.

Maintain and enhance existing websites while adhering to software engineering best practices.

Communicate with clients and manage ongoing projects and maintenance requests.

Configure and maintain large-scale websites running on cloud environments.

Work with internal or external designers to implement provided designs.

Lead improvements in the software development process and coordinate efforts with co-workers.

Experience with all of the following technologies is a requirement:

JavaScript, NodeJS

Linux

HTML, CSS

git version control software

Familiarity with any of the following technologies is desirable:

TypeScript

JavaScript libraries and frameworks such as Vue, or React

CSS libraries and frameworks such as Tailwind, or Bootstrap

Docker, Kubernetes or other container environments

Cloud services such as AWS, Google Cloud or Azure

MySQL or PostgreSQL relational database

DynamoDB, MongoDB, or other document database

VS Code, WebStorm, Eclipse, or other IDE
