We are seeking two (2) Senior ICT Specialist Workforce Planners to join the Technology Operations and Support Branch, supporting one of the largest ICT programs in government.

If you are an experienced workforce planning professional with strong data analysis and ICT resource forecasting skills, this is an opportunity to contribute to nationally critical ICT projects.

⚠️ Note: An active or eligible Baseline Security Clearance is required.

Duties of the Workforce Planner

Conduct workforce supply analysis – assess capability, identify gaps and optimise resourcing.

Develop and maintain a workforce demand plan for ICT projects.

Create and update a skills and capability matrix to inform hiring and training priorities.

Build and maintain a workforce allocation schedule mapping resources across 130+ projects.

Develop executive reporting packs and workforce dashboards for leadership (resourcing, shortages, contractor usage, risks).

Track resource onboarding/offboarding and maintain planning toolkits/templates.

Transfer knowledge to departmental staff and ensure record keeping compliance.

Skills and Experience Required

Demonstrated experience in workforce planning within ICT environments.

Strong data analysis, forecasting, and resource mapping skills.

Technical expertise in Power BI, Data Analysis, Forecasting, ICT resource identification and mapping.

Experience developing workforce plans, dashboards, and allocation schedules.

Ability to work in large, complex program/project environments.

Australian Citizenship + ability to obtain Baseline clearance.
