IMMEDIATE START REQUIRED

We are seeking an experienced cook to join our childcare centre in Bathurst on a casual relief basis.

This role is to cover a period of unexpected leave, initially for approximately 3–4 weeks, with the potential for ongoing casual relief work thereafter.

Hours of work will be 9.00am to 3.30pm Monday to Friday.

About the Role:

Prepare and serve nutritious meals for young children in accordance with approved menus

Follow food safety and hygiene standards

Manage food allergies and special dietary requirements

Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment

Essential Requirements:

Current Food Hygiene/Safety Certificate

Valid Working With Children Check for paid employment

Proven experience cooking in a childcare, school, or similar environment

Up-to-date knowledge of food allergy management

Ability to work independently and efficiently
