Applicant must have experience in recreation/events coordination.

Key tasks & responsibilities

Support Service Coordinator and service delivery team to organise safe, engaging experiences for young people with disabilities.

Coordination of all documentation, files and folders in timely manner for use on services.

Create and maintain positive relationships with all internal and external stakeholders and service providers.

Contribute to risk management by assisting with venue and activity risk assessments and ensuring they are up to date and filed correctly prior to service delivery.

Create detailed runsheets for service delivery team to ensure a smooth transition from design to delivery.

Ensure all camps and programs operate in-line with Cahoots policies and relevant legislation (safeguarding etc).

Engage in continuous improvement activities relating to processes and practices.

Adhere to budget parameters for all expenses.

Essential criteria

Minimum of one years’ experience coordinating logistics for events or similar.

Highly organised with the ability to work across multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.

Experience working in a team and collaborating with others.

Strong attention to detail.

High level verbal and written communication skills.

Computer literacy (Microsoft Office & CRM systems).

Current NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working With Children Check (or ability to acquire).

Must be available to work in school holidays.

Desirable

Qualification in Events or Recreation Management (or similar).

Experience and/or understanding of the needs of people living with a disability and their families/carers.

Relevant degree/qualification in disability/social work.

Experience working with young people.

Demonstrated understanding of NDIS Practice Standards.
