Salary: From $96,731 to $101,823 base salary + super (based on experience)

What You’ll Be Doing
- Assess development applications for heritage places
- Draft and review local planning policies
- Evaluate Local Planning Scheme amendments
- Conduct land use planning research
- Coordinate responses to State planning initiatives
- Provide advice to public and developers
- Represent Council in meetings and inquiries
What You’ll Bring
We’re seeking someone who’s curious, community-minded, and ready to grow. If you’re passionate about planning and heritage, and keen to make a difference, you’ll ideally bring:
- Tertiary qualification in Urban or Town Planning
- Experience in statutory or strategic planning
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Clear and confident communication style
- Knowledge of planning legislation and processes
- Ability to collaborate and influence respectfully
