We require a motivated and experienced Fitter, Crane Mechanic to work from our Maddington Depot and support out team in Australia.

Responsibilities:

High focus on Health Safety and Environment;

Large Diesel engine servicing;

Mechanical and Hydraulic maintenance;

General and preventative maintenance;

Develop technical expertise for fault finding, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic breakdown;

Travel as required for Fleet maintenance;

Ensuring all service records are recorded and any other administrative tasks; and

Prepare on/off - hire reports.

Education and Experience

Qualified Fitter/Mechanic Trade Certificate in Heavy Diesel (mechanic or fitter) evidence required;

Interest in heavy equipment, crane technology and maintenance;

Three years relevant experience;

Construction white card, Working at Heights certificate and High Risk License: LF and RI;

Work as part of the operations team and independently on remote locations;

Good judgement and decisiveness;

Able to work autonomously and a self-starter;

Excellent written and verbal communication skills; and

Able to work with all Microsoft Office suite and other relevant systems.
