About the Organisation:

Ark Support Coordination is a values-driven organisation which specialises in providing Specialist Support Coordination to National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) participants and their networks. As a registered NDIS provider, we offer services to NDIS participants with complex needs throughout Western Australia.

About the Role:

Specialist Support Coordination (SSC) is vital for marginalised members of our community to access the full potential of the NDIS, connecting participants to life changing supports, therapies, equipment and services, while supporting people through challenging life events. Ark Support Coordination is the leading provider of Support Coordination in Western Australia. Potential opportunities to expand into a Positive Behavioural Support (PBS) role or regional/remote role.

A role with us means you will be surrounded and supported by a compassionate, highly-skilled and fun-loving team. We believe in guiding you rather than throwing you in the deep end. Our Graduate Development Program provides a structured entry into the workforce, allowing you to develop with guidance of experienced social workers. You will be provided access to:

Webinars and professional development sessions tailored to your growth.

Clinical supervision to guide your practice and ensure you’re on the right track.

Peer supervision for collaborative learning and support from fellow graduates.

Shadowing opportunities to learn directly from experienced professionals.

We are looking for full-time or part-time (minimum 0.8 FTE) Social Work Graduates to join our Perth team.

An in-depth understanding of how structural and systemic issues create barriers for individuals with complex needs.

The ability to work independently, think innovatively and demonstrate initiative.

Excellent documentation and report writing skills with the ability to communicate complex issues in a coherent and concise way.

Motivated and dedicated team player who enjoys collaborating, supporting and celebrating success.

Strong organisational skills including task management, managing competing priorities, and meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Graduated as a Social Worker within the last 2 years

These criteria are desirable and highly advantageous:

Tertiary qualification in Social Work (preferred)

Lived experience with a disability or experience caring for someone with a disability.

We strongly encourage and welcome Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to apply.

Other Essentials:

Benefits:

Generous remuneration and allowances, incentives and professional development.

Supportive environment with strong supervision and opportunities for professional development (well suited for a recently qualified Social Worker)

Ability to work from home and work flexible days/hours (post-probation). Options for full-time and part-time employment are offered.

Dynamic and progressive team environment, working with other highly skilled professionals using innovative, evidence-based approaches.
