About us:

Bar Miette is a European-inspired all-day dining and drinking terrace located on street level above Supernormal Brisbane, with an elevated vantage point and views of the Brisbane River and Story Bridge. The breezy indoor-outdoor space features an intimate curved bar and an expansive outdoor terrace perfectly poised for relaxed dining. From morning coffee and breakfast on a weekend, to elegant, composed salads, seafood on ice, and charcuterie at lunchtime. The evening offering will be rounded out by classic cocktails, and a well thought out wine list.

About Trader House:

Trader House is a collective of restaurants, bars, and specialty retail stores by Melbourne-based chef, cookbook author and columnist Andrew McConnell and photographer Jo McGann. They are Gimlet at Cavendish House, Apollo Inn, Cutler, Supernormal, Cumulus Inc., Marion, Builders Arms Hotel, Bar Miette, Meatsmith Heritage Butcher and Morning Market.

Supernormal Brisbane and Bar Miette are the first venues for Trader House outside of our Melbourne home. Newly opened in July 2024, the venues are beautiful, light-filled spaces with glass and open air frontage to make the most of the incredible riverfront location. Situated within a ground-breaking, eco-progressive and Green Star certified building at 443 Queen Street created for the Brisbane climate.
