About the Role

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity based in Melbourne CBD with hybrid working arrangements (Mondays and Thursdays in the office). Reporting to a Senior Product Design Manager, you will collaborate closely with engineering and product teams as well as a global design function.

You will lead the design of experiences at the intersection of two core user groups, working to simplify complex operational challenges for businesses while enhancing customer experiences. This will include conducting research, shaping product strategy, and delivering intuitive solutions used by clients and customers worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver user-centred solutions across B2B and B2C platforms;
• Translate business requirements into scalable and intuitive digital experiences;
• Lead user research to inform product strategy and design direction;
• Partner closely with product managers, engineers, and sales in agile delivery squads; and
• Balance rapid experimentation with longer-term strategic design thinking.

About You

To be successful, you will bring:

• 5–10 years’ professional experience in product design, with a portfolio showcasing web and product design work;
• Experience designing within two-sided marketplaces or large-scale digital platforms;
• Strong visual and interaction design skills, underpinned by strategic vision and systems thinking;
• Proven ability to lead research and link insights to measurable design outcomes;
• Experience working cross-functionally in agile teams and influencing stakeholders;
• Proficiency with Figma and prototyping tools; and
• Industry experience in marketplaces, hospitality, events, or consultancy is desirable.

Additional Information

This role offers a base salary of $150,000–$160,000 + superannuation, with a 15% performance-based bonus, an incredible stock program worth over $27,000 annually, and a generous benefits package, bringing the overall salary package above the $200,000 mark before bonus kicks in.
