About the role

Constructive Building Consultants is seeking an experienced Accounts Officer/Receptionist to join our growing team on a full-time basis. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for providing key accounting and administrative support to our growing business, ensuring the smooth running of our financial operations and front-of-house services.

What you'll be doing

Processing accounts payable and receivable transactions, including invoicing, reconciliations and reporting

Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities

Handling general enquiries and providing excellent customer service as the first point of contact

Coordinating office administration tasks, including answering phone calls, managing the reception area and providing support to the wider team as needed

What we're looking for

Proven experience in a similar role

Proficient in using accounting software (Xero) and Microsoft Office suite

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanour

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
