Located in Busselton, WA, we are a medium sized accounting practice with that prides itself on providing high quality, personal service and advice to our clients.

We service clients predominantly in the South West region of WA and as well as throughout the State, in various industries including agriculture, construction, hospitality and retail.

We're seeking a Senior Accountant or Manager to join our friendly team on a part time or full-time basis.

The role:

Primary relationship manager for a portfolio of clients, supporting the directors.

Overseeing and managing the delivery of compliance and consulting work.

Preparing financial statements, tax returns, and activity statements.

Assisting with tax planning and consulting advice.

Excellent knowledge of taxation legislation

Experience with accounting systems, in particular the Xero ecosystem

Supervising and reviewing the work of junior staff.

What we're looking for:

Minimum 5 years experience in public practice essential.

Experience leading small teams and managing client groups independently.

Ability to self-review and review the work of others with a strong attention to detail.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team.

Strong organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure.

A Bachelor of Commerce degree and membership with CA or CPA.

Must have permanent work rights in Australia, or be a citizen or permanent resident.
