About us

My First Aid Course is Brisbane's fastest-growing and most highly-rated first aid training provider, giving individuals and corporate groups a fun, flexible and extremely hands-on experience to learn first aid skills and gain a nationally-recognised qualification. Training and assessment delivered on behalf of Allens Training Pty Ltd RTO 90909.

We are looking for motivated and passionate people with a great understanding of first aid to join our team and deliver first aid training at our North and South Brisbane public course centres and onsite at client workplaces across the Greater Brisbane region.

The right candidate will have a positive, motivated and easy-going attitude, a passion for adult learning and first aid, live local to Brisbane (or Northern Gold Coast) and have regular availability from Monday to Saturday.

Tasks & Responsibilities

Facilitate engaging and practical-focussed training for public and private groups in First Aid, CPR and Low Voltage Rescue, as well as Advanced Courses.

Ensure a safe and effective training environment at public course locations and onsite at client workplaces.

Follow training and assessment guidelines set out by the Registered Training Organisation (Allens Training RTO 90909)

Ensure participants HAVE A BALL learning first aid skills that they can recall and put to use in the workplace and home!

Travel to and from venues in and around Brisbane.

Have availability Monday to Saturday or any combination of those days.

REQUIRED (Please do not apply unless you have the following)

Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40116 (minimum) or later.

Current first aid competencies.

Driver's Licence, reliable transport and willingness to travel when required.

Working with children check (or willingness to obtain).

Live local to Brisbane or Northern Gold Coast. We will not be accepting applicants from Sunshine Coast or other regional areas at this time.

First aid training experience.

FAVOURABLE (but not essential)

Have own equipment (CPR adult and infant manikins, training defibs, etc.)

Friendly, approachable, good sense of humour & enjoy group training facilitation.

Willing to travel as much as required.

Flexible with available hours and days

Have LVR, Advanced First Aid, Advanced Resuscitation and Remote First Aid on scope or be willing to do them through us asap.
