About the Role:

• Preparation of Statutory Accounts – Lead the preparation of annual and interim financial statements in compliance with IFRS and local reporting requirements.
• Group Consolidations – Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual group consolidation process, ensuring accurate elimination of intercompany transactions and compliance with IFRS.
• Technical Accounting Advisory – Provide technical accounting guidance on complex transactions, including business combinations, lease accounting, revenue recognition, and financial instruments.
• Financial Reporting & Compliance – Prepare and review financial reports for senior management, ensuring accuracy and adherence to IFRS, regulatory standards, and internal policies.
• Audit Coordination – Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors, ensuring the timely completion of audits and resolving any technical accounting queries.
• Process Improvement & Controls – Identify and implement process improvements in financial reporting, consolidations, and internal controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

About You

You will have a strong background in a chartered accounting firm, in either a Big 4 or a Mid-Tier firm, where you developed strong technical skills (IFRS / AASB). You could either be a first mover at the Senior, Assistant Manager or Manager level, or a 2nd mover with some experience in a Financial / Senior Financial Accountant role. You also have strong level of attention to detail and be an excellent communicator that thrives in a fast-paced organisation. Full working rights is required (Australian Citizen, PR or Defacto Visa).
