THE ROLE

You will be looking after your own group of clients and working with the Director and staff as part of a cohesive team. You will be actively involved in the full spectrum of business services – including financial accounts preparation and interpretation, research and advice, preparation of all tax requirements and generally providing support to clients in the financial management of their businesses.

· Provide comprehensive accounting, tax, and advisory services to a portfolio of clients

· Prepare and analyse financial statements, tax returns, and other financial reports

· Offer strategic taxation advice and solutions to clients, addressing their specific needs and goals

· Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax laws, and regulations

· Stay updated on industry trends, tax legislation, and accounting standards

· Contribute to the firm's business development initiatives and client relationship management

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Professional accounting experience

Hold a tertiary qualification in an accounting related discipline .

Membership of, or currently working towards, CPA/CA would be advantageous.

Audit exposure is a benefit

Solid work ethic

Strong skills using Xero - financial statement preparation & accounting services

Excel experience highly regarded

Tech savvy across a number of platforms including Office & Office 365

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
