The Opportunity

We’re seeking an experienced and motivated Team Leader/Roof Plumber to join our Operations team. This is a hands-on leadership role, suited to someone who enjoys driving productivity while mentoring others, can foster culture and thrives in a dynamic environment with plenty of variety.

In this role, you’ll be supported by your Operations Manager while you:

Lead and supervise a small team of 3-4 roof plumbers, providing on-the-job support and guidance.

Coordinate daily site activities, materials, and trades to keep projects running smoothly.

Carry out and oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of roofing systems to the highest industry regulatory framework.

Promote a strong safety culture through toolbox talks, compliance checks, and WHS practices.

Act as the on-site point of contact for clients and contractors, representing Roofrite with professionalism.

What We’re Looking For

BPC (VBA) Registered Roof Plumber

Minimum 7 years’ experience as a qualified roof plumber

Proven experience leading small teams or work crews

Strong knowledge of AS3500.3, site logistics, scheduling, and resource management

Working at Heights, White Card, and valid Victorian driver’s licence

A safety-first mindset, with a reputation for reliability, teamwork, and integrity

First Aid/CPR certification (desirable)

EWP Licence (desirable)
