Talent International is searching for an experienced Principal Project Manager to join our Queensland Government client based in Brisbane CBD on a 11 Month Contract, with strong extension potential.

The role:
We're seeking a highly experienced Principal Project Manager to lead the delivery of Project LeapFrog - a strategic initiative to replace the Legal Services Commission's legacy case management system with a modern Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform. The role will oversee end-to-end implementation, manage key integrations, ensure compliance with governance and quality standards, and act as a senior Change Agent to embed capability uplift across the organisation.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and deliver Phase 2 of the CMS replacement project, ensuring alignment to business requirements and scope
• Manage strong relationships with executives, business representatives, and vendors to drive successful delivery
• Oversee project funding, forecasting, schedules, and governance reporting
• Liaise with government assurance bodies to ensure compliance with all requirements
• Act as a Change Agent to support transition from project activities to business-as-usual

Requirements:

• 10+ years' experience delivering complex ICT modernisation projects in large organisations
• Proven success in stakeholder engagement and vendor management at senior levels
• Strong knowledge of PRINCE2, MSP, and software development methodologies (Waterfall/Scrum)
• Expertise in Microsoft technologies including 365, Azure, Dynamics 365, and SQL/database management
• Government sector experience (local, state, or federal)
