About the Role

Maxiply and Select Concepts, is seeking a skilled Technical Drafter & Project Support professional to join our team. In this full-time role, you’ll work across both sides of the business, applying your drafting expertise and project support skills to help deliver innovative timber solutions.

This is a diverse role where you will take responsibility for preparing detailed technical drawings and production-ready files, while also supporting the successful coordination and delivery of projects.

You’ll have the opportunity to work closely with clients, project managers, and production teams, ensuring ideas are transformed into high-quality outcomes.

What You'll Be Doing

Technical Drafting

Collaborating with staff to produce accurate, detailed technical drawings for production

Preparing machine-ready files and documentation for tenders

Assisting with preliminary layouts, feasibility sketches, and technical advice for clients

Producing clear reports and documentation to support operational needs

Project Support

Participating in the early stages of project lifecycles to understand customer requirements

Liaising between clients, project managers, and production teams to ensure smooth delivery

Supporting project coordination to align timelines, expectations, and outcomes

Product Innovation

Exploring and developing new product ideas based on client needs and feedback

Presenting concepts to senior managers for potential commercial application

What We're Looking For

Relevant experience in drafting technical drawings, ideally within construction or timber manufacturing

Proficiency with AutoCAD and strong capability in producing production-ready files

Experience supporting project delivery and coordinating between multiple stakeholders

Excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines

Confident communicator with the ability to engage effectively with clients, suppliers, and colleagues

Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

A professional, proactive mindset with a commitment to quality outcomes
