We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Japanese Teacher to join our Languages team.

Fixed Term, 20 October – 8 December 2025

Years 8–11

This role is central to fostering a love of language and culture, while supporting students to develop the skills and confidence to engage in an interconnected world.

• Designing and delivering engaging, inclusive, and accessible learning experiences
• Using student data to guide planning, assessment and teaching practice
• Embedding digital learning technologies and contemporary pedagogies to enhance learning
• Supporting the development and wellbeing of the whole student
• Building strong partnerships with students, families, and colleagues
• Participating in co-curricular activities and College events
• Embracing professional learning and reflection as part of your practice

You will also:

• Hold current VIT registration
• Ideally, have accreditation to teach in a Catholic school and/or to teach Religious Education (please indicate in your application if applicable)

CLASSIFICATION

This position is covered under the Catholic Education Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2022, Teacher Salary, T1-1 to 2-6.
