About the role

Join the dynamic team at My Duty Home Care as a part-time Disability Support Worker. This rewarding role involves providing personalized care and support to our clients with disabilities, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life. You will be based in the Brisbane CBD, South Brisbane, Ipswich and Logan with the flexibility to work around your schedule.

What you'll be doing

Assisting clients with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping

Providing companionship, social engagement, and emotional support to clients

Facilitating community access and participation for clients

Documenting client progress and maintaining accurate records

Collaborating with the wider care team to ensure high-quality, coordinated support

What we're looking for

A Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification

Experience in providing disability support services, preferably in a home or community setting

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients

Compassion, patience, and a genuine commitment to improving the lives of people with disabilities

A valid driver's license and reliable transportation

First aid certification is highly desirable
