ABOUT US

Founded over 20 years ago (in 2002), THE CLEAR SKIN CLINIC, in Darling Point, is a beautifully appointed, very specialist, boutique skin clinic, which has an excellent reputation in treating challenging skin conditions such as acne, scarring, pigmentation, rosacea and photo-ageing issues in clients of all ages. Discerning clients come from far afield to experience our extraction facials, and we are one of very few Skin Clinics in Australia specialising in, promoting and training this traditional European style, facial skill.

Our current key skincare brands we work with: Environ, Dr Spiller, Mesoestetic, Medik8, Advanced Nutrition Programme, Jane Iredale.

THE OFFER

This position is a Full time role, 40 hours per week.

The remuneration is $76,515 per annum + Commission structure & Superannuation.

Location: Darling Point NSW

ABOUT YOU

We are seeking applicants for whom skin is truly their passion. You relish the challenge of treating clients with the more complex and challenging skin conditions such as acne, scarring, pigmentation, rosacea, and premature ageing.

You appreciate and have expert experience of delivering the skilful, traditional art of extractions.

You excel at:

• Client consultation, client motivation, and uptake of your tailored, comprehensive, home and in-clinic skincare advice & treatment prescriptions.
• Client rebooking and client retention rates.
• Homecare product & skin treatment package sales.
• Maintaining an up-to-date self-knowledge of skin conditions, skincare ingredients and new treatment approaches to treating skin conditions.

ESSENTIALS:

• Minimum Diploma in Beauty Therapy.
• Minimum 8 years’ experience as a Skin or Dermal Therapist.
• Experience and confidence in Manual Extractions and Facial Massage, Microneedling, Facial Peeling.
• Trained in European beauty methods and practices.
• Highly passionate and experienced in diagnosing, treating, and managing acne and skin blemishes, rosacea, healing wounded skin, treating scarring and pigmentation issues.
• Skin analysis equipment interpretation (Woods lamp & Observ 520).
• Proficient & confident client skin consultations, contraindication assessment and experience in client motivational interviewing and client skin education skills.
• Confident knowledge of traditional extraction facial techniques and appreciation of classic, manual facial extraction techniques for the removal of blackheads, whiteheads, papules, pustules, and milia are essential for this position.
• Advanced experience in extractions, medical grade peels, microneedling, laser safety certification & laser operation experience.
