NM Insurance is a market leading distributor of insurance products and services, in the retail recreational areas of pleasure craft, motorcycle and caravan as well as commercial marine insurance lines.

Our business operates through offices across Australia and New Zealand. Most of our Insurance Products are distributed via intermediary partners, primarily through licensed Insurance Brokers, as well as franchised dealers of pleasure craft and direct to consumers in the Australian and New Zealand Market.

NM Insurance requires a professional and energetic customer focussed Motorcycle and Caravan Claims Officer. In this role you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of end-to-end motor claims and recovers. You will need to ensure the prompt and fair processing of claim settlements according to the terms and conditions of company policies and procedures.

The responsibilities will include:

Responding to claims enquiries

Appointing Assessors when required and negotiate on claims settlements

Speedy and efficient processing of claims

Identify and manage recovery opportunities

Controlling the end-to-end claims process

Provide outstanding client service

Ensure client focussed outcomes adhering to strict regulatory and NM Insurance protocols

Skills and experience:

A minimum of 1 years' experience of managing motor claims

Proven experience exceeding target with a claim's environment

Proactive and effective communication skills to manage relationships internally and externally

Excellent time management skills and a flexible approach to your work

Demonstrated attention to details and organisational skills

Australian work rights are required for this position

Experience within the insurance industry is essential for this role
