The Role

Our client is currently seeking a qualified Metal Fitter and Machinist to perform the below duties:

• Programming (Mazatrol) and adjustments of machine settings
• Interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Adjust machine guides to ensure precision
• Check the accuracy of parts
• Perform fault finding and failure analysis
• Perform preventative maintenance
• Breakdown machining
• Repetition/Production machining
• N.C Turning
• Milling

Key Competencies

• Relevant Trade Qualification with a minimum of 3+ years experience
• Experience in Coversational Programming Mazak machine
• Recent experience in a heavy industrial environment
• Ability to complete detailed inspection & QA reports
• Ability to work with tight tolerances
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail, customer service and safety
