Trusted steel expert specialising in Fabrication | Manufacturing | Maintenance & Servicing is seeking multiple candidates to fill Mechanical/Maintenance Fitting, Boilermaking, Cleaning/Trades Assistant roles in the Quarry Industry.

The successful applicants must be trade qualified or have vast experience in this field and we be required to complete fixed and mobile plant maintenance on a 4 ON - 4 OFF Night Shift rotating roster.

Overtime is expected in these roles.

This position is based at Point Wilson VIC.

Night Shift Roster is 9 hour per shift, 4 nights ON 4 nights OFF rotating roster.

** Night Shift Team Leader roles available to the right candidate.

All positions are physically demanding and will require regularly going up and down staircases, Climbing in and out of crushers and chutes.

About the Tradesman Position:

All below jobs can be trained if not familiar,

Preventative and reactive maintenance on crushing plant and earth moving equipment.

Welding and gas cutting experience needed.

Conveyor maintenance including changing rollers, Skirting, Scrapers.

Bearing changes of Head, Tail and GTU drums and Vibrating screens.

Changing Screen mats and punch plates.

Basic Crusher Inspections and liner changes.

Chute wear plate replacement and fabricating new wear plates.

Permanent full time night shift positions.

All PPE Supplied

All large tooling supplied.

About the Cleaning/Trade Assistant role:

Cleaning of vibrating screen mats,

Unblocking chutes,

Cleaning in and around crushers,

Removing rock from behind guards,

Shoveling and hosing dirt piles from platforms

Assisting tradesman with maintenance

Assist changing Conveyor rollers and skirts

About the Person:

Hard working, reliable and trustworthy,

Experience working in quarry environment an advantage,

Able to work alone or part of a team,

High safety focus

EWP, Forklift, Telehandler tickets all an advantage.

Current driver's license and own transport, (vehicle supplied while onsite)
