About the company:
The company is a leading surveying company who have been involved in some of Australia’s largest and most complex projects. The scope of works that they deliver include civils, construction and infrastructure surveying projects. About the Role:
We are seeking a Surveyor to work on a major infrastructure project in Cairns on a DIDO or FIFO basis. Works will include bridges, structures and marine construction.
Duties:

• Working on a DIDO or FIFO basis
• Working in a team
• Liaising with clients and contractors
• Reading plans
• Establishing control networks
• Conducting daily surveys
• Keeping accurate data records
• Data input
• Being a point of contact between site and head office

About the Requirements:

• Formal Surveying qualifications
• Infrastructure/construction project experience
• Structures and marine experience is an advantage but can be taught
• Large scale project experience is an advantage
• Be able to work DIDO or FIFO (3:1)
• Proficient with Total Station & GPS
• Experience of using surveying software including 12d
• Excellent communication skills
• Drivers licence
