Due to maternity leave and other leave Council are seeking an experienced and suitably qualified, self-motivated, proactive and detail-oriented professional to support the effective management of property and facilities who has exceptional organisational skills and is keen to embrace new technologies and opportunities for development, whilst being customer service centric and community focused. About the Role
The Property Specialist is based within our Infrastructure and Environment Department, reporting to the Business Support Manager Infrastructure & Environment with key priorities focused on:
· Providing high level professional advice and support in relation to property and road matters
· Commitment to continuous improvement as an on going process
· Review processes and embrace amended practices to improve the effectiveness of service delivery
· Strives to ensure all parts of the organisation operate at a high level of efficiency.

To be successful in this role, you will need:
· Diploma or higher tertiary qualifications in one or more discipline such as property or similar
· Experience in procurement and property matters
· Knowledge of computer and cloud based systems, database management and Microsoft applications
· Knowledge of current legislation, regulations and standards relevant to the position
· Strong interpersonal skills and work ethic, with an ability to maintain diplomacy and professionalism with a customer service focus.
· High level written and verbal communication skills
· Understanding risk management and principles
