Our client is a leading Australian manufacturer servicing major pharmaceutical and healthcare customers. This is an exceptional opportunity for someone who has worked within the pharmacuetical sector to make a career change. You will working within a National team to manage Key (Pharmaceutical) Accounts -ensuring customer satisfaction and in turn, drive growth.
Specific Accountabilities include:
- Build strong relationships with customers ensuring frequent face-to-face visits are maintained
- Ensuring customer contracts are up to date and profitable
- Align customer plans with sales targets
- Establish quarterly business reviews and ensure management is across key items for discussion
- Perform regular stock takes of items at customer sites to ensure reporting and billing is accurate
- Generate credit notes as needed
- Develop and implement strategies for customer retention and growth
- Drive revenue through both existing accounts and new customer acquisition
- Maintain accurate CRM records and monitory contract expirations
- Re-sign existing customers onto new service agreements, negotiating as required
- Represent the company at trade shows
- Collaborate with marketing, supply chain and customer service teams
To be successful in this position you will be a proactive and driven professional with demonstrated experience in driving strategic growth and expanding key accounts. Additionally you will have:
- Pharmaceutical Industry experience and/or significant Account Management experience gained in a similar role
- The ability to build and maintain effective working relationships at all levels of the organisation
- Proven business growth achievements
- Intermediate to advanced level MS Office skills and competency using large organisations customer or financial management software to run reports, understand data and make decisions based on analysing results
- Current drivers license
Note that this position does not offer work from home. It requires a blend of on the road days (within NSW) and in office days in the Blacktown area. There will be interstate travel required also (approximately once per quarter).
