About Us:

Sleep Electric Brisbane Northside is a business that supplies Adjustable Beds to the General Public, NDIS Participants and Aged Care Providers and their clients in the Brisbane, Sunshine Coast & Toowoomba areas.

Your Role:

The requirements of this role are physically demanding due to the weight of our beds (50-130KG), and you will need to be physically fit with the capability to complete tasks that require lifting heavy beds and manoeuvring these through homes.

You will be a part of a 2 person team Delivering and Installing our beds and completing servicing where required at clients' homes. Normally up to 4-6 deliveries / services per day. You will assist in loading the truck each morning or afternoon for deliveries, and do rubbish runs when required.

Warehouse work will also be required, sometimes yard work at head office.

This is a flexible role within a small team, on occasion you may need to fulfil other duties.

Full training will be provided.

Other duties include:

Interacting with our clients & providing training on our products

Receiving stock deliveries from our suppliers

Light paperwork

Rubbish runs to dispose of cardboard / packaging

Must have a drivers license, clean criminal history, and minimal driving offences.
Must Be fully vaccinated against Covid-19. This is a requirement of the Aged Care and Disability Sectors.

Applicants must hold a current Car licence (C class) to be eligible for this position.

Candidates must possess a current C class (car) driver's licence to be considered for this position.

Applicant Must Be:

Physically fit and able to lift heavy items

Capable of lifting items weighing up to 75kg as part of regular duties

Responsible, reliable and well mannered

Comfortable communicating with clients in a friendly manner

Able to work well with others and follow instruction

You must also possess or be willing to obtain:

A Current National Police Check Certificate

Blue Card (Working With Children Check)

NDIS Workers Screening (Disability Check)

Flu Vaccination when required

Covid-19 Booster Shots if required

All required background checks and certifications must be completed before commencing work.
