About the Role

Downtown Toyota has an opportunity available for an experienced and enthusiastic Pre-Delivery Truck Operator to join and assist our pre-delivery department in Lytton.

As the successful candidate you will be required to:

Load/ unload vehicles onto truck/ trailer & securing onto the truck / trailer

Carry out quality inspection before loading any vehicle

Transport vehicles in between Downtown Toyota sites and sublet workshops

Transport vehicles to end buyers

Follow daily schedule to ensure everything runs on schedule

Assist in other areas of Pre-Delivery in between runs when required

Monitoring truck and trailer to ensure it is in safe working order

Demonstrate behaviours that align with company policies, organisational values and The Toyota Way

Contribute to building a positive team spirit

To be considered for this role you should:

Current and valid MR truck driver’s license

Experience in vehicle carrier driving and truck driving

Quality focused, conscientious and take a great deal of pride in their work

High degree of team work

Ability to identify problems as they arise and offer effective solutions

Ability to work autonomously, but also a team player
