About the role
We are seeking a customer service/administration professional at the APS3 level for our Commonwealth Government client. The successful candidate will provide the front line of customer service for veterans and their families accessing clinical support services. This role is available to candidates located in Melbourne, VIC; Mr Gravatt, QLD; Lismore, NSW; Hobart, TAS and Elizabeth, SA.
An initial 12-month labour hire contract is on offer, with the possibility of a 12-month extension.
Please note: the successful candidate must be an Australian citizen and be willing/able to obtain a Baseline security clearance. A Working with Vulnerable People registration or Working with Children Check will also be required prior to commencing in the position.
Duties:
- Provide high quality customer service as the first point of contact for clients, visitors and stakeholders, in person, over the phone or via email and SMS.
- Provide administrative support for operational tasks, including data entry, record keeping, reporting and data quality assurance.
- Resolve client enquiries, providing information and options in accordance with policy and procedures.
- Support the coordination of regional events, including group treatment and educative programs, internal meetings, and community-based events.
- Deliver correspondence both internally and externally related to client allocations, referrals, appointments, and service satisfaction.
- Support daily operations, including management of correspondence and deliveries, arranging travel, processing invoices, raising resource requests and responding to property and maintenance issues.
Requisite skills/experience:
- Demonstrated experience in customer service and/or administration within a health service and or government environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organisation skills
- The ability to work both independently and in a team
