An opportunity for a Business Services Senior Accountant has come available to the marketplace to join this reputable CA firm in Sydney's North Shore. You will be a part of an organisation that services a variety or public and private companies, family-owned businesses, HWNIs and not-for-profit organisations. They are a diverse team with a strong focus on training and supporting professional growth.

Working alongside an experienced Manager, you will be responsible for:

The preparation financial statements and tax returns for various SME's, high net-worth individuals, partnerships and trusts

Preparation of BAS, IAS, FBT, GST reconciliations and payroll tax calculations

Assist with tax planning, drafting advice letters and conducting tax research

Assist clients with key tax areas including Div7A, Payroll, Superannuation, CGT and small business concessions

Answer queries from bookkeepers

Liaise with the ATO and other regulatory bodies

Ideally you will have:

Minimum 3 years Tax/Business Services experience in Australia

Relevant Accounting/Commerce degree

CA/CPA studying or qualified

Ability to work as part of a team and to be adaptable

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills due to client facing nature of role

Strong business acumen
